Promoting the exchange of information and ideas pertaining to music theory since 1986.
The 34th Annual Meeting of the New England Conference of Music Theorists will be held at McGill University's Schulich School of Music in Montreal, Québec, Canada, on April 13–14, 2019. We look forward to seeing you in Montreal!
We are pleased to announce that the full program for NECMT 2019, including abstracts, is now available. This year's program is particularly exciting, as it includes scholars from four states—three of which are outside of New England—and three Canadian provinces.
If you are traveling to Montreal for NECMT 2019, this local arrangements guide contains some general information that will help you prepare for your visit. More specific information about parking, getting to the Schulich School of Music by Metro, and most importantly, area restaurants is also available.
Additionally, this year's dinner will be held at Enoteca Monza Pizzeria Moderna. No advanced registration is required, but reservations will be tallied at the meeting on Saturday.
