The 31st Annual Meeting of the New England Conference of Music Theorists will be held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, April 8-9, 2016. On Saturday the 9th, we will meet jointly with the American Musicological Society New England Chapter. The final program, which includes NECMT, AMS-NE, and joint sessions, is below.
The New England Conference of Music Theorists welcomes membership from all of New England and beyond. Founded in 1986 at an inaugural meeting at Brown University, we meet each spring with the aim of providing a forum for the exchange of information and ideas through the presentation of papers, panel discussions, student workshops, and the like. As we approach our 30th meeting in 2015, we reflect on our rich history and look ahead to a bright future.
